The compact size is a big plus because even the best gas is useless if you don't take it with you. I'm just wondering about the effectiveness of the safety lock when carrying it loosely, for example in a fanny pack.

Purchased another one after the expiry of previous cans. I suggest buying two and testing one to see how it works. In my experience, you really had to press hard to activate the spray. It's better not to be surprised and struggle with the trigger when every second counts, and also good to see the spray's range and stream in real life beforehand.

Gas purchased in April, not used yet, it's hard to evaluate something you haven't used, but I can assess the functionality, which is good, there's a clip for a belt, effective safety lock, the gas has never gone off in my pocket. The small tank is also a plus, fits in any pocket. But whether it works? I don't know. Will it work when needed? Will my reflexes be right for the situation? Hard to say.
