Constructed from rugged 500D Cordura, the pack offers exceptional resistance to mechanical wear and abrasions. The rear panel features a soft foam insert that promotes balanced weight distribution and supports optimal air circulation for enhanced user comfort.
Within the main compartment, secured by a zipper, are 2 flat pockets designed for documents and small accessories, along with elastic band loops and dedicated attachment points for fastening gear using cords or carabiners, plus a velcro panel. In addition, the design incorporates a drainage hole. The pack features an open rear pocket, which serves as a storage area for a belt or allows threading a backpack strap through integrated loops.
A velcro panel positioned on the front provides a secure place for attaching patches, such as unit insignias, national flags, or Morale Patches. The presence of MOLLE/PALS webbing ensures easy attachment of additional gear, including pouches, containers, or other accessories. Furthermore, an elastic cord located at the bottom makes it possible to secure a jacket or sleeping mat.
The carrying system features a robust and abrasion-resistant hip belt with a width of 40 mm, secured by an SR buckle. Featuring full adjustability, it ensures an optimal fit tailored to the user’s body shape.
The M05 camouflage (Finnish M05 Maastokuvio) represents a series of pixelated concealment patterns that were adopted by the Finnish Defence Forces in 2005 to replace the previous M91 pattern. Developed through digital analysis of photographs depicting Finnish forests in various seasons, a process carried out by the Finnish Forest Research Institute, the M05 series offers multiple variants, including woodland, snow, and cold weather adaptations.
The primary woodland configuration of M05 is characterized by patches of light green, dark green, brown, and dark graphite hues, efficiently mirroring the natural composition of Finnish woodland environments. Owing to comparable vegetation and terrain, the M05 Woodland pattern is also highly effective in the forests of Central and Eastern Europe, delivering reliable concealment in these natural settings.
