Schrade Lateral AUS-8 Sheepsfoot Folding Knife - Dark Green
A folding knife designed for everyday carry (EDC). The Sheepsfoot-profile blade is made of Japanese AUS-8 stainless steel, which offers excellent corrosion resistance. The smooth blade has a satin finish. The handle is made of G10 laminate with a non-slip texture. The knife opens using a flipper, and the Frame Lock ensures safe use.

The blade is made of Japanese AUS-8 stainless steel, which is used in utility knives. It is characterized by good corrosion resistance and is relatively easy to sharpen. It offers a good balance of wear resistance and edge retention while maintaining good toughness.

The blade, with a Sheepsfoot profile, is 83 mm long and 3.2 mm thick. It features a smooth cutting edge achieved through a hollow grind. The blade is finished with a satin finish, which gives it a semi-matte surface, ensuring an attractive appearance and increasing scratch resistance. On the spine of the blade, where the thumb rests, there is jimping, which improves control over the tool during use.

A durable Frame Lock is responsible for locking the blade in place. The knife is opened manually using a flipper, which also serves as a cross guard, and the smooth deployment of the blade is facilitated by the Ultra Glide mechanism, which is based on ball bearings.
Comfortable everyday carry is ensured by a spring-loaded steel clip that allows the knife to be easily attached to a belt or the edge of a pocket. At the end of the handle, there is a hole for threading a lanyard.
