Compact Smith's Pocket Pal second generation sharpener features three types of abrasives. The ergonomic handle, crafted from a lightweight yet tough polymer, provides a comfortable grip. Specially designed slots ensure a consistent angle, ideal for maintaining the optimal edge profile.

Equipped with two interchangeable sharpening surfaces of varying grit sizes. The tungsten carbide crossed plates with coarse grit are intended for primary edge sharpening, while the ceramic rods featuring a fine 1000 grit finish are perfect for honing and polishing edges.

A foldable, tapered diamond rod is tailored for sharpening serrated blades, small tools, concave edges (like Recurve or Kukri knives), and fishing hooks. The rod's abrasive surface is coated with a medium-grain diamond finish of 400 grit.

A dedicated lanyard hole enables easy threading of a cord or lanyard. Additional gear includes an integrated LED flashlight, emergency signal whistle, flint, and a compass attached to the cord.

So I bought it as a gift for my brother, but he thanked me for three days, so I asked him to show me... I have to say I'm really surprised because both the sharpening stone and fire starter work great. For this price, I don't think you'll find anything better! Great product! I recommend it.
