Used for over 2 years – hot summers (high temperatures even at night), freezing winters (-15°C), downpours (meaning heavy rains), snowstorms, strong winds. I don't handle my equipment "gently." I also slept on uneven ground, sometimes with roots and branches under the tent, and the terrain wasn't always flat. After dozens of trips (each 2-8 nights), the tent hasn't had a single malfunction. The material tolerates stretching – it doesn't tear or rip. Condensation inside (as someone mentioned in reviews)?! It's a BIVY, not a classic tent – yes, it happens. Does it protect against heavy rain? Yes, it does. Will there be moisture without a sleeping bag in such conditions? There will be, but it's not a flood – you'll survive the night. At 1.1 kg, there is NOTHING more durable that offers such overnight survival quality.

The bivy is very easy to set up and pack away and it's lightweight. During a downpour, however, it was just one big lake. For me, there's quite a lot of space inside, plus room for luggage. It's ok, the construction is solid so far.

Unfortunately, despite the breathable fabric and ventilation, there is condensation on the walls. In heavy rain, I'm concerned a tarp might be necessary to avoid getting soaked. The bivy is incredibly light and convenient for hiking.

Tested the tent in summer in the mountains, often in clearings. Setting it up and taking it down is very quick; it's not very visible. If it rains, it's a bit stuffy inside, especially if you sleep on your side and not your back. When lying on your side, water condenses on the wall. Usually, the sleeping bag was a bit damp on top in the morning due to dew. A nice subtle plus is the beautiful views you get right after waking up, visible through the mesh.

I've had the Snugpak Stratosphere for 2 years now. It's holding up excellently. It's low, so it's perfect for stealth camping. It's quick to set up and take down. It doesn't leak in the rain, but it does get a lot of condensation. The manufacturer honestly informs you about this possibility, so you can't blame them. I don't. Besides, you can't expect a single-layer tent not to have condensation. Water vapor is common in the air; in low temperatures, it condenses (see: dew, clouds, moisture on window panes in autumn and winter). Let's be realistic and not expect to defy the laws of physics. I recommend using sleeping bags or blankets that are fairly water resistant in the Stratosphere. Sleeping in the Snugpak Stratosphere, you feel a higher temperature that you generate yourself. In summer, that's a disadvantage when it rains and you have to close yourself inside, but in autumn and winter, this feature allows you to sleep under a blanket or with a not-so-warm sleeping bag. The tent is long enough to fit your luggage inside. I recommend keeping your backpack behind your feet, so that rainwater doesn't pool on the tent fabric. There's plenty of room next to your head for small items, and there's also a pocket above your head. The packed tent doesn't take up much space in the backpack. For outdoor stays, the Stratosphere is sufficient for me. Bigger tents may be more comfortable, but then you have trouble packing all your gear. And after all, a tent and sleeping bag aren't the only things you take outdoors. I recommend this little tent to lovers of minimalist camping and stealth camping. The price is quite high, but you don't have to worry about the poles breaking in the cold, or the pegs bending when staking down the tent.

Compact size and low weight—that's exactly what's expected of this type of equipment.

My first impression is its small size and weight for a tent—somewhat smaller than a small summer sleeping bag.

I like the idea of this product. It's claustrophobic inside. I slept during many hours of rain, nothing dripped on my head. I don't regret the purchase, despite the high price.
