Specna Arms AK SA-J02 EDGE Gen.2 AEG Assault Rifle - Black

An electric replica combining the styling of the AK carbine with the technical solutions of the Edge Gen.2 line. The design includes steel external elements, a varnished wooden handguard and fixed stock, as well as a polymer pistol grip. The model is equipped with the electronic HAL ETU module, an Orion V3 gearbox and the Enter&Convert quick spring change system.

The replica body is made of steel, as are the receiver cover, outer barrel, trigger guard, magazine catch, selector lever, dummy gas tube, cleaning rod, pins and rivets. The one-piece outer barrel is also made of steel.

Aluminum is used for the sighting devices, muzzle device, side dovetail mount and bolt carrier with charging handle. The fixed stock, handguard and gas tube cover are made of varnished wood, while the pistol grip is made of polymer. The wooden elements give the replica a classic look, while the steel body and outer barrel emphasize its solid construction.

The side dovetail rail allows the installation of compatible accessories. Under the receiver cover there is space for a stick-type battery. The replica is adapted for LiPo batteries.

Inside the replica, an Orion V3 gearbox prepared for further modifications has been used. The gearbox is designed to work with springs up to M140. The Enter&Convert system enables quick spring replacement without the need for full gearbox disassembly, making it easier to change the replica configuration.

The gearbox includes among other things:

The electronic HAL ETU module uses magnetic sensors and the Hall effect to detect trigger operation. It features an active brake, a binary trigger function, sensitivity adjustment and pre-cocking.

Trigger sensitivity can be set to one of 5 levels, in the range from 20 to 100%. Pre-cocking offers 6 adjustment levels. The module also allows fire modes to be programmed using the trigger, without the need to use an external device.

Available settings include:

• in AUTO mode: full-auto fire, single fire, 3-round bursts or 5-round bursts
• in SEMI mode: single fire, binary mode, AUG mode or sniper mode
• HAL ETU also signals a low battery charge level

The replica is equipped with a rotary Magnus TDC (Top Down Center) chamber. Hop-Up adjustment allows the bb flight path to be matched to their weight and the replica configuration used.

The muzzle velocity is 380 FPS, and the inner barrel length is 440 mm. The replica offers single fire, full-auto fire and modes adjustable via the HAL ETU module. The Mid-Cap S-Mag magazine has a capacity of 175 bbs.
