Featuring a Clip-Point blade profile with a 3.7 mm thick construction, this blade is crafted from premium CPM S30V steel utilizing powder metallurgy. The steel is hardened to 58-59 HRC, delivering excellent corrosion resistance, superior edge retention, ease of sharpening, and enhanced resistance to chipping. Incorporating a Full Flat Grind, the blade is treated with a black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating, effectively safeguarding it from scratches and reducing unwanted reflections. Aggressive jimping has been added to the spine, providing a secure resting point for the thumb and enabling greater control and precision.
Compression Lock, Spyderhole
Effortless and smooth deployment of the knife is achieved through the enlarged 14 mm SpyderHole cut-out on the blade, allowing quick and simple one-handed opening with either hand. Spyderco's patented Compression Lock secures the blade in the open position, delivering outstanding robustness and reliable safety during use. For enhanced knife control, the design also features a Finger Choil—a contoured index finger groove located between the handle and the cutting edge.

Reinforced steel liners form the core structure of the knife handle, complemented by panels made from highly durable G10 glass-epoxy laminate. An ergonomic contour and non-slip texture deliver a reliable and secure hold during use. At the rear of the handle scales, a Lanyard Hole enables attachment of a safety cord.
