From a technical point of view, this replica should be compared to its only real competitor, the P90+ by Tokyo Marui. I have to note upfront that Krytac's advantage stems more from the stagnation seen by TM and the legal airsoft constraints in Japan. Except for the recent release of a version with ETU, their P90 is basically the same replica from the turn of the century. As for Krytac’s advantages, you can mention: - Better body material. - Modernized V.6 gearbox (normal bearings, radiusing in the cylinder window, QSC, stronger motor cage) - Metal upper. - Better hop-up chamber mounting in the upper - though TM’s is not bad either. - Mechanical trigger adjustment in the stock. Unfortunately, there are also drawbacks: - NO POSSIBILITY OF INSTALLING THE PERUN ETU, which is currently the best (by a wide margin) ETU for P90 on the market. - Modernized V.6 gearbox (dedicated - if it cracks, you have a problem, requires gears dedicated to Krytac gearboxes, which are definitely more expensive) - Questionable installation of the buttpad, which makes it easy to lose. - Mechanical trigger adjustment - especially in mode "A," the minimum resistance is still significant. - Poor availability of spare parts. - Price?
Electric reproduction of the P90 SMG submachine gun features a durable construction utilizing both polymer and metal components. The receiver, RIS rails, inner barrel, and part of the internal mechanisms are fabricated from metal. The bullpup-style body, featuring a horizontally mounted magazine above the receiver, is constructed from high-strength plastic. Markings and the licensed FN Herstal logo are present on the body, reflecting the original firearm's appearance.
The P90 is outfitted with an upper RIS rail engineered for attaching optical sights such as collimators, complemented by a side rail for additional accessories. Basic mechanical aiming devices are also integrated.
A BNH (BoltNoHold) bolt lock system is incorporated, stopping firing when the magazine is depleted. Equipped with a Mid-cap magazine, it offers an adjustable capacity of 200/50 BBs.
An ambidextrous, three-position fire selector is featured, ensuring ease of use for both right-handed and left-handed operators. In automatic fire mode, the trigger is two-stage: a partial pull delivers a single shot, while a full pull engages continuous automatic fire.
A 14 mm clockwise-threaded outer barrel enables the installation of suppressors or barrel extensions for further customization and enhancement.
At the core of the P90 pistol lies the advanced Krytac P90 gearbox, constructed with classic 8 mm bearings and a proprietary Mosfet. It includes an inspection window and supports rapid spring changes.
P90 SMG offers magazine compatibility with both Krytac P90 and Tokyo Marui P90 models.
