Takumitak Scalpel Knife - Black/Coyote Brown

Compact survival knife featuring a Full Tang design, where the tang runs throughout the entire length of the handle. Outfitted with a blade in a modified Tanto shape, crafted from 3Cr13 stainless steel and hardened to 54-56 HRC for excellent edge retention and heightened abrasion resistance.

A concave grind and black oxide coating provide the blade with a semi-matte finish, safeguarding it from corrosion and minimizing reflectivity. Jimping on the spine offers a stable thumb platform for enhanced control and safe handling, while a finger notch functions as a cross guard to prevent accidental hand slippage onto the cutting edge.

Handle scales constructed from glass-fiber-reinforced nylon (FRN) deliver outstanding durability against moisture and fluctuating temperatures. With ergonomic contours and a non-slip surface, the grip remains secure even in adverse conditions. A lanyard hole at the end enables the attachment of a safety cord.

Set contains a MOLLE-compatible sheath with a clip made of FRN, permitting convenient attachment to a belt or tactical gear. Also included are interchangeable handle scales in Coyote Brown.
