MultiCam represents an advanced camouflage pattern engineered in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior project. Featuring a palette of seven distinct hues, the pattern blends gradients of green, brown, and beige, allowing seamless adaptation to surroundings. In forested environments, it takes on green tones, while in desert landscapes it shifts toward browns and beiges—showing exceptional performance in Central and Eastern Europe during autumn and amidst arid vegetation. MultiCam has become globally recognized and is utilized by various military forces and special operations teams. Officially adopted by the US Army in 2010 for troops deployed in Afghanistan, it replaced the prior Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Furthermore, MultiCam is accessible to civilian markets, making it a favored option among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
