This is my first vest, so I don't really have a point of reference. The two built-in magazine pouches are not particularly easy to access, the quick-release system works correctly, and the vest is large and protects a big part of the torso and back. I can't check the IRR coating. It comes with a spare strap and a cable for quick release. I think it was worth buying.
Tactical vest Plate Carrier style, crafted from robust 500D Cordura IRR, offers superior resistance to detection by night vision devices. Engineered to accommodate SAPI-type hard ballistic plates in S/M sizes, it is ideal for military personnel, other uniformed services, and advanced ASG enthusiasts alike.
Both the front and rear sections of the vest are equipped with MOLLE/Pals mounting straps for customizable arrangement of pouches and gear according to user requirements. Side modules feature a cummerbund with adjustable circumference, and are similarly outfitted with MOLLE/Pals straps.
A detachable front pocket is designed for SAPI ballistic inserts, fitted with a velcro panel that accommodates various patches, including insignias, national flags, unit identifiers, or Morale Patches.
Shoulder sections are fitted with comfort pads and spacer mesh to provide enhanced comfort and breathability. Additional straps and hooks allow for cable management when needed.
Plate Carrier MK IV IRR incorporates a one-handed quick-release system for rapid removal. An evacuation handle on the back also serves as a convenient carrying handle.
Plate Carrier MK IV IRR meets German Bundeswehr standards TL 8305-0278 and TL 8305-0281.

The Tasmanian Tiger Plate Carrier MK IV IRR Stone Grey Olive tactical vest is a very well-made vest with a nice design. As for the quick release system, you really have to wrestle with that cable. I’m not sure why it’s like that, but it would help if it were at least a bit more flexible. I suggest not bending over too much while dealing with it, as it twists a lot. In the final phase, the cable can be routed in three ways (one shown in a video on the website, the second in the manufacturer’s video, and the third in the user manual – which, by the way, is only in English and German).
