Tactical vest Plate Carrier model crafted from robust 500D Cordura IRR, providing exceptional resistance to detection by night vision devices (residual light intensifiers). Designed to accommodate SAPI-type hard ballistic plates in L/XL sizes, this vest meets the demands of military personnel and other uniformed services, and is also highly valued by experienced airsoft enthusiasts.

Both the front and rear panels are fitted with MOLLE/PALS system webbing, offering full customization for attaching pouches and carriers according to user needs. The side cummerbunds with adjustable circumference are also outfitted with MOLLE/PALS webbing.

A removable SAPI plate pouch is secured on the front, featuring a velcro panel for adding insignias, national flags, unit badges, or Morale Patches as desired.

Shoulder comfort pads incorporate spacer mesh for optimal breathability and comfort. Additional straps and loops are included for efficient cable management.

Plate Carrier MK IV IRR integrates a rapid-release mechanism operable single-handedly. The rear section is equipped with an evacuation handle that also functions as a practical carrying handle.

Plate Carrier MK IV IRR meets German Bundeswehr specifications TL 8305-0278 and TL 8305-0281.

This is my first vest, so I don't really have a point of reference. The two built-in magazine pouches are not particularly easy to access, the quick-release system works correctly, and the vest is large and protects a big part of the torso and back. I can't check the IRR coating. It comes with a spare strap and a cable for quick release. I think it was worth buying.

The Tasmanian Tiger Plate Carrier MK IV IRR Stone Grey Olive tactical vest is a very well-made vest with a nice design. As for the quick release system, you really have to wrestle with that cable. I’m not sure why it’s like that, but it would help if it were at least a bit more flexible. I suggest not bending over too much while dealing with it, as it twists a lot. In the final phase, the cable can be routed in three ways (one shown in a video on the website, the second in the manufacturer’s video, and the third in the user manual – which, by the way, is only in English and German).
