TickLess – ultrasonic tick deterrent is a compact, portable unit that generates ultrasonic waves at a frequency of 40 kHz, which are undetectable by both humans and animals.
Ticks are capable of spreading serious illnesses such as Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis. Deploying TickLess provides a means to lower the risk of tick bites and, therefore, potential exposure to infection.

Ticks detect hosts using the Haller’s organ, found on their first pair of legs. The device emits ultrasonic waves at 40 kHz, which interfere with this organ’s sensory reception. Operational range extends to approximately 1.5 meters.
The device features a brown casing constructed from biodegradable plastic. Once the device is no longer functional, open the housing and separate it from the internal components. The outer shell can be placed in a compost bin or buried in soil—thanks to its composition, the material will biodegrade in a matter of months.
Compliant with the IP13 standard, the product ensures protection from objects larger than 50 mm and is resistant to water spray from a 60-degree angle in multiple directions.
Device operation
Activation is achieved by removing the safety tab, which powers up the device. Operates continuously for a minimum of 6 months until the battery is completely discharged. Secured in place via a keychain ring.
