I have found many uses for this item other than the recommended one: as a container for storing firelighters, a vessel for melting wax, making various mixes. I feel that the price is a bit too high for such a small piece of aluminum. I didn't buy it as a burner, but I recommend it.

A very nice tin for gel or cubes - very compact size, just right for small activities - sometimes you don't want to take a larger cooker just to make a cup of coffee outdoors, and here you just open, light, and then seal it tightly when you're done - I recommend it.
