Trollsky Knives Mandu XL Dark Bead Blast D2/Blue Micarta Folding Knife
A folding knife developed by the renowned Polish knifemaker Michał Trollsky. The XL version is characterized by an enlarged blade, a Liner Lock mechanism and a deep-carry clip, making it more practical and comfortable for everyday use.
Blade with Drop Point profile, D2 steel, Jimping, BEAD BLAST
The Drop Point blade is made of D2 tool steel, which is characterized by excellent cutting properties and high resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The blade is hardened to a hardness of 59-61 HRC and finished with a gray Bead Blast process. Jimping (corrugation) is placed on the back of the blade, where the thumb rests, to facilitate control of the blade when making cuts.
flipper, Liner Lock
The knife is opened with a flipper, which, when the blade is unfolded, protects the hand from slipping onto the cutting edge. The Mandu XL model is equipped with a Liner Lock, which keeps the blade open. In addition, the lock provides safety by protecting against accidental opening during carrying.
Shaped Micarta handle, steel clip
The ergonomically shaped handle ensures a stable and secure grip. The handle is made of light and durable composite material Micarta in blue. The material is resistant to moisture, temperature changes and most solvents and acids. The deep-carry spring steel clip in the tip-up position allows for comfortable carrying of the tool.

It looks great, fits wonderfully in the pocket, and you can change the clip however you like. The steel is excellent, and just a few strokes on the sharpener make it sharp again. The blade deploys quickly thanks to the bearing and is loud, with a spectacular click. I highly recommend it to everyone for EDC.

I bought this folder in a brick-and-mortar store because I needed a good, solid knife for a trip in a hurry. Usually, I carry a full tang in the field, but for a light trip out of town, this one seemed perfect. And that's exactly what happened :) it is literally an ideal tool. It works well with food and you can prepare firewood with it too. And it's Trolsky :) I recommend it!

The knife is very good, fits perfectly in the hand, and the mechanics are definitely a plus. The blade is nicely matte, we'll see how the coating holds up. As for the XL size, it's not really that 'XL'—it will work perfectly as an EDC with some reserve power. The steel itself is of good quality, the knife is well sharpened, and the cutting aggression is very good. Not only for cutting bread rolls, but it can also handle larger sticks.

One of the best, if not the best, folders I own. It just makes you want to use it. Ergonomics, quality – superb. Great design, practical, beautiful… with character. Not just another butterfly or spider.
