Uberti 1858 New Improved Army .44 5.5' Black Powder Revolver - Black
The replica of a percussion revolver, originally designed by the American manufacturer Remington. Crafted from robust forged and oxidised steel, the 1858 New Improved Army model features a 6-shot cylinder. As the world's first model to implement an enclosed frame, it enhanced both reliability and structural durability.
Durable forged steel, oxidised
The closed frame is crafted from forged steel with a black oxidised finish. The grips feature premium walnut wood. The trigger guard is constructed from brass.
6-shot drum, muzzleloading
The 1858 New Army model comes equipped with a 6-shot muzzle-loaded drum.
Precision Maxim front sight
Equipped with mechanical sights, the revolver features a front sight of the MAXIMUM type, distinguished by its increased thickness compared to the standard model. The precision design enhances visibility against the target, making alignment with the rear sight easier.
Single Action trigger, lever ramrod
The trigger functions in Single Action mode, requiring the hammer to be manually cocked prior to every shot. The cocking system allows for two distinct positions: half-cock for loading cartridges into the chambers, and full-cock for firing. Outfitted beneath the barrel, a lever ramrod is hinged in place, designed specifically for seating lead bullets in the cylinder chambers.

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Uberti.
Uberti is an Italian manufacturer of historical firearm replicas, founded in 1959 in Gardone Val Trompia by Aldo Uberti. The company is famous for its faithful reproductions of revolvers, rifles, and shotguns from the Civil War and the Wild West, which, thanks to modern materials, often surpass the originals in terms of quality. Its replicas have appeared in Sergio Leone's cult westerns, such as “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” and “Once Upon a Time in the West,” as well as in “Dances with Wolves” starring Kevin Costner. Today, Uberti products are prized by collectors and used in Cowboy Action Shooting competitions, where both authenticity and reliability of the weapon are important.
