A faithful reproduction of the Colt heavy revolver wielded by the Texas Rangers, an organization established in 1823 to defend the borders of the then-nascent state of Texas. Named in honor of Samuel Hamilton Walker, a notable Ranger and co-creator of the firearm.
The Walker 1847 variant is a 6-shot percussion-cap black powder revolver. Featuring breech loading, this model incorporates a .44 caliber forged steel barrel extending 9 inches in length.
The structure showcases a reinforced frame crafted from oxidized forged steel. Brass was selected for the trigger guard, while grip panels are shaped from walnut wood.
Positioned below the barrel’s round profile, a lever buckler (ramrod) streamlines the seating of lead projectiles into the chamber. The sighting configuration includes a fixed front sight and a rear sight.
