After more than half a year of using it in a home kitchen, the sharpness has barely diminished, but it's still more than enough for preparing meals. Very interesting grip texture—it doesn't irritate, and it's rough enough to give a lot of confidence when using the knife. When picked up, it feels light. Well-deserved 5 stars from me.
