The Victorinox Recruit is a very practical 84 mm everyday use pocket knife, as long as you don't need a corkscrew or awl. In that case, you have a knife that fits comfortably in your hand with a smooth "back" and a compact design. The Recruit is two-layered, making it more comfortable for people with larger hands than the single-layer 84 mm knives.

Victorinox Recruit - if it were a 91 mm model instead of 84 mm, it might be the ideal Victorinox for people who don't need an awl and corkscrew. The smooth back of the knife, with only springs and no small tools, has great classic charm and constructive simplicity in the positive sense of the word.

No special recommendation needed. Everything as described, small, neat, handy, multifunctional. Great gadget. And customer service, as always, is excellent.
-
Pocket knife bought as a gift for a friend, of course a success :). She really wanted something lightweight without unnecessary wood saws. The quality, as always with Victorinox, is at a high level.

Pocket knife bought as a gift for my little son, works great thanks to its small size and light weight. The basic tools in this model are completely sufficient for most everyday situations, even on trips or excursions. The relatively low price for a Victorinox product is also a plus.

If someone likes Victorinox 84 mm (i.e. shorter than the more popular 91), this is a model to consider. It doesn't have files, corkscrews, etc., like the Sportsman or Tourist, but it has the things most people need the most - 2 blades, an opener - so it's a simpler (more stable?) design and less to clean.
-
This device's main feature is a plus for some and a minus for others. Two blades and openers - the question is, does everyone use a corkscrew, awl, etc.? Thanks to the lack of these extras, the pocket knife is very comfortable, has a compact design and, viewed from above, has the beautiful style of a classic pocket knife (just 'springs'). Long ago, there were similar Polish pocket knives:)

A very handy and neat pocket knife. Includes the tools most often used outdoors, so it's very practical. Very compact size. I recommend Victorinox pocket knives.
-
Small, lightweight pocket knife, and yet so many possibilities. I won't list all the tools one by one because there are several. This is already my fourth Victorinox in my collection and at the same time the smallest. Perfect for daily carrying in your pocket, it could be used as a keychain, but I'm reluctant because the cellidor scales might get scuffed. I recommend it.
-
Small but crazy. A nice little thing that will do every job. Has all the essential tools in the set. Highly recommend and, as always with Victorinox, there’s nothing to complain about.
-
Nice, small, useful pocket knife. Ideal, for example, for a survival kit or as a backup. Also good to keep in the car for emergencies. Overall, a good spare tool or for EDC luxury.
-
Ideal EDC pocket knife. Small size, light weight, excellent quality materials, and careful workmanship. I highly recommend it because it is the highest quality of pocket knives in the world.
-
Classic. Nothing more needs to be said.

Simple tools worth having with you.
