Driven by compressed carbon dioxide, the ES 66 air rifle features a construction combining metal and plastic components. The bolt, main body, hammer, functional decocker, and smaller parts are crafted from metal, while the grip panels are made from durable plastic.
A 12 g CO2 capsule, inserted into the magazine, serves as the power source for the air rifle. Alongside the CO2 capsule, the magazine accommodates 16 BB 4.5 mm pellets. The rifle’s efficient gas system allows for approximately 50 shots at a muzzle velocity of 125 m/s with a single CO2 cartridge.
The trigger system utilizes the SA/DA system (single action/double action), enabling firing both with a pre-cocked hammer or in “self-cocking” mode. Both sides of the pistol are equipped with a lever to release the cocked hammer, known as a decocker.
A polymer carrying case with internal protective foam is included for secure transport of the air rifle. The case fastens with two sliders and features openings for padlock use, offering added security against unauthorized access.
