The air rifle carbine Walther Rotex RM8 Varmint UC features a contemporary design and a robust synthetic handguard. Classified as a PCP carbine (powered by compressed air), it includes an 8-round magazine designed for diablo lead pellets. This carbine is the compact version of the standard RM8 series.

CAUTION!!!
A compressed air source is required to fill PCP air rifles:
- a cylinder equipped with a PCP filling kit for air transfer
- or charging with a hand pump.
The advantages of PCP (Precharged Pneumatic) air rifles over spring-powered models lie in the lack of recoil, which is caused by the movement of a piston driven by a spring inside the cylinder—thanks to moving elements weighing under 10 g, the shooter feels almost no motion, even when handling a rifle over 3 kg. As a result, PCP systems facilitate the use of more precise and high-magnification optics, enabling the marksman to comfortably rest the rifle in their hands during firing without concern for recoil.

With a highly elevated cheek pad, shooters can conveniently utilize a range of optical sights. The buttstock is fitted with a vented rubber butt plate for a secure fit into the shooter’s shoulder pocket. A slim pistol grip offers a firm grasp and easy access to the safety mechanism. The Thumbhole handguard is designed symmetrically, making the rifle fully accessible for left-handed and right-handed users.

Equipped with a rifled barrel produced by the renowned German manufacturer Lothar-Walther, accuracy is enhanced by a muzzle constriction. On the UC model, the barrel is complemented by a K3 Neo suppressor at the muzzle.

The durable steel air cylinder, with a capacity of 200 cm3, is designed to be filled with compressed air up to 232 BAR. Fully pressurized, the reservoir yields approximately 180 shots at consistent initial velocities. Depending on the specific pellet type used, initial velocities reach around 240 m/s. The reservoir is filled using the included quick coupling, which attaches directly to the hose from the cylinder.

While mechanical iron sights are not included, the presence of an 11 mm standard mounting rail permits the installation of optical scopes.

Included in the kit is an aluminum magazine capable of storing 8 pellets of 4.5 mm caliber. Throughout the rotating bolt cocking process, the magazine rotates, positioning the next pellet into the barrel for firing.

It is really nice for its price. But this was supposed to be my third air rifle and with the break-barrel Hatsan Air EDGE where I installed a gas spring and replaced the barrel in 3 years, I ended up with some absurd things. Grouping, etc. Here it's the same, only sometimes the pellet tears or the barrel gets clogged on occasion. I don't know what to do about it. Somehow it doesn't really bother me. The grouping is great but one downside is it's too heavy! The gun itself is quite heavy, with a large Hawk scope on the bottom, bipod, silencer, and it becomes rather unwieldy.

A nice shorter version of the proven RM8 model. It shoots as good as it looks. Very accurate when combined with Exact pellets. In this price range, in my opinion, there is no competition. Choosing a good scope guarantees a lot of fun while shooting. The shorter version fits perfectly in any case or bag.

Until now, I had only shot with spring air rifles. Buying the Walther was a big step forward for me and I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

The rifle is amazing. The best choice on the market in this price range. It has a pressure regulator from much more expensive competitive rifles by Walther. Free-floating Lothar Walther barrel, very quiet, short, ergonomic, incredibly accurate, very large air tank sufficient for 150 shots. Durable and resistant polymer. You can easily use this rifle for HFT competitions.

Something beautiful! From 40 meters, you can shoot a 10-shot group of 12x9mm! I highly recommend it!
