A very light, cheap padlock. It's plastic, so it's clear that it's not super durable. Just right for securing a bag during a trip. Obviously, if someone breaks into a tent, they'll either break the padlock or cut the bag, or in the worst case, take the entire luggage. The padlock doesn't need to be super sturdy; quality and price are adequate for its purpose and expectations. Of course, any Gerda with a key offers better security, but it's heavier and useless at the airport. I recommend it for luggage.

Great especially for people who travel with a backpack as checked luggage on a plane. It effectively protects against theft. Easy to open if someone knows the code.
