Wisport SilverFox II 40 l Multicam Full Camo Backpack

Medium-sized military backpack in Multicam camouflage with a 40-liter capacity. Equipped with many practical solutions, such as ski attachment loops, an advanced SAS carrying system and OpenBack with an openable back panel. It is made from durable Cordura, equipped with certified ITW Nexus and Duraflex buckles, and has bartack stitching. Thanks to this, the backpack is characterized by very high durability and resistance to damage in any conditions.

OpenBack system

The backpack is equipped with the OpenBack system, allowing access to the interior of the backpack through a detachable back panel. By detaching the shoulder straps and unzipping the zipper, access to the entire main compartment of the backpack from the frame side is obtained, which is a significant advantage when carrying a large amount of gear. This allows the user to remove or insert necessary items into the backpack, without having to remove others.

Advanced SAS carrying system

The carrying system SAS (Semi Adjustable System) allows the backpack to be adjusted to individual body shapes. It is equipped with adjustable chest and hip belts, which effectively transfer the load to the hips, relieving the spine. The backpack straps are detachable with buckles, and on their surface, there are loops for a hydration bladder tube. The straps and back are lined with soft and breathable mesh, which increases air circulation.

Flap closure and extended sleeve

The backpack design is based on a single, spacious main compartment closed with a flap and sleeve. The flap is secured with two adjustable straps with Fastex buckles, and the sleeve with drawstrings allows for increasing the backpack's capacity if needed. The flap is additionally equipped with an upper pocket with a zipper and a Velcro panel for attaching patches or emblems.

MOLLE/PALS mounting system and ski loops

The backpack and its interior feature mounting straps in the MOLLE/PALS system, allowing for the attachment of additional pockets and pouches. Additional external straps with buckles allow for carrying larger gear items, such as a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, or jacket. On the sides of the backpack, there are open side pockets suitable for carrying a water bottle or thermos, along with ski loops.

Rain cover and internal organizer

Inside the backpack, there is an additional organizer with a mesh pocket and a compartment for a water tank from the hydration system. In the double bottom, there is a hidden rain cover, which will secure the backpack and its interior against rain or snow.

Multicam camouflage

MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.

The backpack is not the cheapest, so expectations were quite high, but the product even exceeded them – it is clear how thoughtfully designed this equipment is, both in terms of features that make it easier to use, overall ergonomics, and build quality. Access to the entire compartment through a zipped panel on the back makes packing and removing items from the bottom easy without having to dig through everything. Inside, there is a practical organizer, and the extension collar, adjustable lid, and numerous straps allow you to use much more than just the nominal 40 liters of capacity. A big plus is also the side pockets, multiple attachment points, and the MOLLE/PALS system, which make it easy to adapt the backpack to specific purposes. Materials, stitching, buckles, and zippers make a very solid impression – this is equipment you can confidently trust with heavier gear and intensive field use. The carrying system is comfortable, stabilizes the backpack well, and allows the load to be distributed reasonably. The SilverFox II perfectly fills the gap between a small daypack and a large expedition backpack. It's not lightweight or minimalist, but that's definitely not what it was designed for. It’s a very sturdy, spacious, and versatile backpack whose high price is reflected in its quality and functionality. I definitely recommend it.

A spacious and well-thought-out backpack, with an additional small organizer inside. There is the possibility to attach or fasten extra gear outside with the molle/pals system and also using additional straps in other ways. The only drawback is the back stiffening rail – it is cut in such a way that sharp edges remain, which may eventually wear through the bottom of the tunnel where it is placed. I recommend covering the bottom end with thicker heat-shrink foil.

The backpack is very spacious, the color matches the one shown in the preview photo, the carrying system is well thought out—even when the backpack is fully loaded, you don't feel it even after carrying it for a long time with a heavy load. Highly recommended.

Great backpack - durable, very comfortable and roomy. Even when fully loaded, it was super comfortable all day in the winter Tatra mountains. The side pockets allow you to fit an Esbit thermos even when the backpack is full. The back access system is average in my opinion - a cool idea, but you have to unclip 5 buckles and a zipper to get in, which is inconvenient.

I spent a long time considering a backpack that was intermediate between small and large, and I chose the Silverfox II. It was a bullseye. Sturdy - construction and materials. It fits well on the back. You can attach pouches (including on the hip belt, which was important to me). The back opens, not the front like in many other backpacks, so if you want to access something deep inside, you don't lay the backpack down with the 'back side' on the ground and won't get dirty putting it on again. Thanks to the chimney extension, adjustable flap, and the straps on the flap, under the bottom, and on the sides, you can take much more than its nominal capacity allows. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

A very well-made backpack (I didn't expect anything less from Wisport). Well thought out, and its opening back panel makes it easy to access the interior without creating a mess. The inside also has a nice organizer and an option to mount a hydration bladder. On the outside, there are many options for attaching additional equipment. So far, I've used it several times outdoors, and it's a very comfortable backpack that offers plenty of space. I recommend it.

It really gives the impression of being very solidly made. Great functionality - extra pocket at the top, possibility to open like a suitcase, drawstring closure that allows the backpack to be expanded, many options to attach gear, internal organizer with Velcro, decent hip belt, side pockets for bottles.

Nice small backpack for mountain trips. Cordura makes it a tank-like, military-style gear. Many molle straps allow you to attach a large number of additional pouches.

A backpack of very good quality as expected from Wisport. It seems to be indestructible equipment. A big advantage is the ability to open the backpack in such a way that all its contents are accessible. I replaced my Sparrow II 30l with this, along with additional pockets, and I can fit all my gear without any issues. Good option for BOBA (also in terms of color).

The best backpack you can get yourself. Spacious, durable, indestructible. This backpack is better than Chuck Norris and would survive even more. Additionally, the warranty offered by the manufacturer makes this a purchase that will last you a lifetime. I am delighted with the quality of these backpacks and the attention to detail in their craftsmanship. If I accidentally destroy this one, I will buy the same model again. Highly recommended.
