The backpack is very good, I don't regret buying it. However, I think the regular price is a bit too high compared to the features it offers. It's worth buying during a promotion. I also think Wisport could improve the carrying system, as there are better options on the market.
Wisport Zipper Fox Backpack 40 l - MAPA
With a 40-liter capacity, this backpack is crafted from robust Cordura fabric and features a redesigned construction based on the renowned Silver Fox model. Outfitted with certified ITW Nexus and Duraflex buckles, it delivers exceptional durability and reliability, ready to perform in even the toughest environments.
Capacious main compartment, numerous pockets, compartment for hydration cartridge
A four-way zipper secures the backpack, granting access to its interior both from the top and the side, as well as enabling complete unfolding of the pack. The Wisport Zipper Fox features a roomy main compartment equipped with 7 internal pockets and sections. An internal panel fitted with MOLLE webbing permits the attachment of extra pouches or organizers. The rear external pocket is tailored for a hydration system bladder and includes a dedicated hose port. Each shoulder strap is outfitted with a mount for securing the hydration tube.
MOLLE/PALS system, velcro panel, possible mounting of Sparrow pockets
Straps compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system are positioned on the front and sides of the backpack, enabling easy attachment of additional gear. Side compression straps permit you to cinch the pack, ensuring the load remains close to your back and thereby enhancing control and stability. An added feature is the front Velcro panel, designed for affixing any patch or insignia—such as a national flag, unit badge, or so-called Morale Patches.
Sparrow side pockets may be affixed to the straps located on the sides of the backpack.
SAS Military carry system, rain cover
Equipped with a SAS Military suspension system, the backpack delivers exceptional stability even in situations with uneven load distribution. Adjustment of the suspension system straps allows for a precise fit tailored to the user's body. Reinforcement is ensured by a removable fiberglass strip positioned directly against the back.
Protection against harsh weather is provided by an integrated rain cover.
Camouflage
MAPA camouflage pattern was developed by Maciej Dojlitko, who is both a graduate and a current researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. He is also the author of several works, including Theory of Deconstruction of Visual Communication. Tools for designing military camouflage (Gdansk 2015). Featuring an original design underpinned by solid theoretical and practical research—such as computer analysis of thousands of terrain photographs—the pattern quickly gained interest among experts and military apparel producers. MAPA camouflage was first introduced in 2017 at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, showcased as the camouflage for the Dromader armor and uniform system from Maskpol, a member of the Polish Armament Group. Initially developed for the Territorial Defense Army, MAPA camouflage has also been proposed as a potential pattern for widespread adoption across the Polish Armed Forces, potentially replacing the wz.93 camouflage. However, as of now, MAPA has not been formally adopted as the official camouflage of the Polish military.
Key features of the MAPA camouflage in its standard woodland variant:
- 6 distinct colors forming contours that mimic elevation levels on a map
- Hues specifically tuned for effectiveness in Central European forest environments
- Application of 3D illusion and anamorphic effects
- Biomorphic elements incorporated to replicate the appearance of natural vegetation
- Highly contrasting shapes simulating reflections and shadow effects
- Disruption of the wearer’s outline through a large-scale macro pattern
- Color granulation achieved with an intricate micro pattern
MAPA stands out as a compelling alternative to leading camouflage patterns like PenCott, MultiCam, Kryptek, Flecktarn, or the Finnish M/05. In several aspects, it surpasses these patterns, providing more accurate color matching to Central European woodland from late spring through to early autumn.

Backed by a manufacturer's warranty of 5 years, this backpack ensures long-term reliability.

I first saw the backpack at my friend’s place. I borrowed it for one outing and bought one for myself. The way it opens is so convenient that I can’t imagine using a backpack of this size with any other system anymore :)
-
The backpack is very well thought out and well made. The opening system allows full access to the contents. It lacks some kind of external pocket, so it might be worth considering something mounted on the MOLLE.
-
The backpack perfectly matches price and quality. It's lightweight, won't soak through in a light rain; for heavier rain, just use the included rain cover. I bought the backpack based on a friend's recommendation for military service and I can recommend it to anyone myself.
-
The backpack is worth its price. I have a Sumit from Helikon, but it’s not suitable for heavier loads. The Zipper is. It's comfortable and rugged. Good hip belt and shoulder straps. I bought Sparrow 5 pockets for it. They fit perfectly.
-
The backpack works very well for weekend trips with overnight stays. You can fit everything needed for spending the night, a spare set of underwear, or a cooking kit. A big advantage is the organization of the backpack, as you can lay it out flat and arrange things according to your preference. The quality of details like buckles, straps, and zipper is top-notch. No need to worry about potential damage.
-
The backpack was bought fairly recently, but from the very beginning it gives the impression of being very solidly made. The zipper along the entire length of the backpack is a great solution. You don't have to dig to the very bottom to get something. Many MOLLEs give the possibility to attach extra pockets, further increasing its capacity.
-
Very good backpack. Slim and comfortable, it sits and looks nice on your back. The idea of opening it to a flat form is great. The way it opens lets you take things out from the bottom without emptying the rest. As for the quality of materials and workmanship - Wisport, and that's all you need to know.
-
The backpack is very sturdy and has a great opening system, which makes packing a breeze. It could use some external pocket, but you can easily attach something.
-
The Wisport Zipper Fox 40 l Graphite backpack is really a great backpack. The opening system is impressive and thanks to it, you always have access to every packed item.
-
The backpack is flawless! I can truly recommend it if someone is looking for a solid backpack with a comfortable hip belt and opening. There’s no external pocket, so you need to use something attachable.
-
I really like this backpack and I can honestly recommend it to everyone. It has very easily packable 40 liters and a great hip belt that relieves the shoulders. The backpack doesn't have external pockets, so you might need to organize some small cargo yourself.
-
Backpack tested at competitions and on expeditions, performs excellently. A big plus for the carrying system that relieves the shoulders. You can easily attach accessory pockets for more gear.
-
You could say it’s a legendary backpack. Worth its price. Comfortable and roomy. The only downside is that it doesn't have any external pockets, but that's its charm. There are plenty inside. Attaching a stretcher on it is a bit problematic and it’s not in the optimal position. But the backpack still does the job.
-
Zipper Fox is a unique backpack because, at 40 liters, it has a very good hip belt, so for tactics with heavy equipment, it is excellent. Additionally, you can open it completely, making it quicker and easier to pack.
