I bought the knife at a military store during the summer of 2024. It was my first (and as it turned out, not my last) knife from this Polish manufacturer. Let me put it this way – it had a tough life, as I mainly used it as an EDC on a farm. So it served as a knife, crowbar, shovel (sometimes I had to dig up a small stone during fieldwork), and hammer. It performed bravely. For forest work, it also did perfectly – sharpening sticks, batoning, or cutting branches was a piece of cake. I'm saying this from the perspective of someone who needs to clear some bushes in the field or garden and is also a bushcraft enthusiast. The knife is easy to sharpen and if you respect it as a tool, it will definitely last a long time. The stonewashed version is good because signs of long-term use on the blade are less visible. There are people for whom this might matter. The black-coated blade wears off, which also has its charm 🙂 The sheath holds really tight, I've never had the knife fall out or had problems with storing it. My only gripe is with the handle material. Maybe it's just me, but in bare hands, it tends to slip a bit. With gloves, the grip is much more secure. In summary, I highly recommend it. A piece of good-quality steel for a reasonable price.

Build quality is adequate for the price. A typical workhorse that will handle any task. This was one of the first knives from Za-Pas and after working with it, I realized how capable this blade is. The handle scales are quite square, but they work for me—if anyone feels discomfort while working, they can round them off. I made a slight modification to the grind of the cutting edge on mine, which turned out to be a great improvement. I highly recommend it if someone is looking for a good Polish knife for heavy use ;)

The price-to-quality ratio will meet the expectations of a conscious customer. In my case, chipping occurred while chopping small branches for a bonfire; that turned out to be the NVM limit :-) Changing the blade angle and grind fixed the tool. 4GW Regards

A utilitarian finish that doesn't show scratches caused by using a knife. A solid piece of steel that won’t be afraid of chopping larger pieces of wood.
