I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to spend this much on active hearing protectors. You can hear everything great, even the slightest movement. The soundproofing is fantastic. I use them at the shooting range twice a week, and they are great.
3M Peltor ComTac XPI Active Hearing Protectors - Green
Professional hearing protectors with active noise reduction and two-way radio communication. The model is equipped with two high-frequency microphones that enhance environmental sound awareness. The Peltor ComTac XPI hearing protectors provide protection against noise levels of up to 28 dB. The model is compatible with most military helmets.
adjustable headband, wide cushions, sliding design
Wide cushions provide excellent noise isolation. The lower part is contoured, so the protectors do not interfere with shooting. The headband distributes pressure evenly across the head, allowing them to be worn for long periods without discomfort. The sliding design makes it easy to adjust the protectors to the shape of the shooter’s head.
volume control, crackle elimination, prevention of drops in perceived sound level
The hearing protectors allow volume adjustment of ambient sounds and conversations as needed. The use of an advanced electronic system eliminates crackling noises. The model features a smooth audio reproduction system that prevents sudden drops in perceived sound levels. Activation and volume adjustment are controlled via buttons located on one of the earcups.
power supply, automatic shutdown
Peltor ComTac XPI is powered by two AAA batteries, providing up to approximately 200 hours of operation. Replacing them requires only removing the side panel on each earcup. The device is equipped with a low battery warning system and a power-off function that activates automatically after 2 hours of inactivity.

Peltor is a Swedish brand founded in 1950 by Thore Palmaer, recognized as a pioneer in the field of hearing protection. Initially, he created the first headset that enabled communication in loud military environments while protecting the operator's hearing at the same time. Today, Peltor is part of 3M and supplies specialist solutions for industry, the armed forces, aviation, and outdoor enthusiasts. One of the brand's most important innovations is the ComTac system, used by the armed forces since the late 1990s, which enables hearing protection while maintaining situational awareness thanks to digital noise suppression and amplification of quiet sounds. Another breakthrough product is the WS Alert XPV - the world's first self-charging Bluetooth protective headset, which charges with solar energy thanks to Powerfoyle™ technology. This solution makes it possible to significantly reduce or completely eliminate the need for manual charging.

The ear protectors are of very high quality. Absolutely essential at the shooting range. They don't restrict our hearing while protecting our ears. I highly recommend them. It would be useful to have different mounting options in the set, but even with the factory ones it works. I recommend replacing the pads with gel ones for more space under the helmet.

The earmuffs are of very high quality. They are absolutely necessary at the shooting range. They don’t restrict your hearing while still protecting your ears. From my side, I recommend them. It would be useful to have different mounting options included in the set, but the factory ones also work. I recommend changing the pads to gel ones, it will create more space under the helmet.

These are the best earmuffs I know. But the lack of helmet mounts in the set is petty on the part of the manufacturer. It’s obvious that a worker for a machine won’t buy them. They could include those two wires instead of selling them separately.

It's kind of a Mercedes among hearing protectors. Top of the top. I additionally ordered gel covers for extra comfort—I recommend them as an essential addition.

The headphones dampen the sound of shots well, the voice is quite loud, and they are easy to use. Delivered to Ukraine in 7 days, but the color was not the same (fortunately, that’s not the most important). I am satisfied with the price and service. I definitely recommend it.
