Presented Glock replicas in this category are a wide range of ASG version pistols that differ in several respects. There are both fully polymer versions (including the Glock 17 asg), as well as versions similar to the sharpie counterpart - made of metal and polymer. It is also worth noting the range of accurate shooting, as well as the type and capacity of the magazine. The glock ASG pistol is an excellent choice for both beginners and more advanced shooters. Surely, everyone will match the replica to their needs (entertainment, training, participation in ASG shootings) and budget and choose the right replica of one of the most popular guns in the world.
Replicas of Glock pistols, that is, weapons created by an Austrian company from Deutsch-Wagram, founded in 1963 by Gaston Glock. The story of this pistol begins in 1980, when the Austrian Army announced a competition for the design of a new pistol. Glock GmbH wins it, and two years later its products enter the armament of the police and military of the country with its capital in Vienna. Shortly thereafter, the Austrian uniformed services follow in the footsteps of the Norwegian, Swedish and Dutch services, as well as Poland - the weapon is in use by the Grom Military Unit. Official figures say that by 2004 a total of more than 2,500,000 had been sold.
Glock pistols owe their success on the market and popularity to the innovative solutions used in them - among other things, they consist of 33 parts, 40% of which are made of polymers, thanks to which the weight of the gun is lower compared to guns made entirely of metal. For example, the popular Beretta 92 weighs about 0.9 kg, while the Glock 17 weighs about 0.6 kg (depending on the version - some even weigh about 0.5 kg). Another advantage that determines the success of the Glock is the triple safety system - an external trigger and two internal firing pins. The aforementioned safety features allow the operator to safely use the gun even with a cartridge inserted into the breech chamber (this directly affects the reduction of the weapon's use time). The design, safety combined with reliability and capacious magazine (15-17 cartridges are the most common capacities, capacities may vary depending on the Glock version) leave no doubt why this pistol has been hailed as a weapon of the 21st century.
