ASG shotguns are customary spring-loaded (including gas-loaded) replicas of shotguns, popularly known as "pump-action" shotguns because, like their combat prototypes, they require reloading before firing each shot. They are characterized by smaller magazine capacity than shotguns, lower initial velocity and smaller size, which makes them popular for indoor close quarter battle (CQB), where customary replicas should have a lower velocity of a fired bullet.
ASG shotguns differ in many ways. Different parts of an ASG shotgun can be made of different materials, mostly metals, plastics or wood. A shotgun replica can also have different types of drives. The spring drive is the simplest by design. The electric drive is characterized by its versatility and has become very popular. There are also gas replicas, which fire bullets through the gas in the tank. The aforementioned drives allow the shotgun replica to be better matched to the individual preferences of its user.
ASG shotgun replicas look almost the same as their combat counterparts. You can often find a lot of details on them, which are reproduced with great care. This is of considerable importance in airsoft, since in this hobby there is a significant emphasis on replicating warfare. This is why ASG rifles are characterized by high realism related to appearance. We encourage you to take a look at our range of shotguns for airsoft.
