Butt plates are stock accessories mounted on the rear end of a rifle, shotgun or airsoft replica to improve shoulder support, control and overall shooting comfort. In this category you will find components that help you restore a damaged stock, upgrade ergonomics or fine-tune the length of pull and weapon handling to your build.
Typical butt plates and butt pads in this segment range from classic hard polymer or metal plates, through rubber recoil pads, to minimalist tactical caps designed for AR-15 / M4 buffer tubes and modern telescopic stocks. When choosing, it is worth paying attention to compatibility with the specific platform, mounting method (screws, clips, QD sockets), material, surface texture (smooth, grooved, checkered) and whether the part offers additional functions such as storage compartments or spacer use. For many shooters, the key parameters are thickness, hardness of the material and profile, which together determine how the plate fits the shoulder and how it helps manage recoil.
The butt plates category at Militaria.pl is relevant both for users of live firearms and for owners of airsoft and training replicas. Military and law enforcement personnel, sport and tactical shooters, as well as advanced airsoft players will appreciate robust plates and stock caps that provide repeatable weld and secure placement on body armour or chest rigs. Enthusiasts of precision shooting and dynamic disciplines can look for recoil-absorbing pads and carefully shaped plates that aid quick target transitions and stable prone or kneeling positions.
Collectors and hobby gunsmiths will often seek specific styles of butt plate for restoration projects, for example classic steel or aluminium plates for wooden stocks, or rubber pads styled after popular OEM designs. Users focused on lightweight tactical builds may instead prefer low-profile polymer butt plates and minimalist end caps optimised for sling attachment and fast shouldering.
Whether you are replacing a lost or worn stock component, rebuilding a rifle to its original configuration, or tailoring an airsoft rifle to your personal ergonomics, the butt plates category gives you a wide range of options to refine the final interface between weapon and shoulder.
