The scissors are made of hardened steel. Manufactured in China. They have a plastic handle, rubberized grip, and good ergonomics. They cut paper well. The workmanship is average: the black plastic handle and rubber coating are slightly scratched, and the item is tightly packed. So they must have been scratched at the factory. After all, it's not a work of art and it serves, among other things, for cutting, not for display. Final rating: 4, which is good.

I took it as a real tool for hard use. Immediately noticeable is that in the closed position there is a gap between the blade tips. The locking system raises questions. The cut is questionable. If you look closely, the gap extends between the blades themselves, in the middle. I tested the cut on layers of cardboard—the result was a broken larger handle loop (it's really thin here, compared to my old office scissors). I didn't open any lids or crush garlic, but I did find use for the stripper as a kind of pliers when sewing a belt loop with paracord core—it’s relatively easy to pull out the needle, although not very convenient...

Nice, sturdy scissors, a big plus is the curved profile.

Large and heavy scissors. Very sharp. They handle cutting thicker materials with no problem. I recommend them.
