Friction Loc is a line of ASP batons that has been in production for years and is the most proven line of batons, using a classic locking system that utilizes the phenomenon of wedging the tapered surfaces of the segments against each other. This solution is currently used by many manufacturers, but in ASP's version it stands out for its perfect execution and above-average durability.
The baton segments are made of hardened 4140 steel, which is 25% stronger than the 4130 grade commonly used for batons.
The F26WB variant is a 16-inch (40 cm) long baton with an improved Wavemaster rubber handle with a unique non-slip texture. The baton segments are covered with a durable black chrome coating.
