The Talon Infinity is made from 4140 hardened steel, which is 25% stronger than the commonly used 4130 grade for producing batons. In the Electroless model, the steel is additionally coated with a nickel finish, providing excellent corrosion resistance. The Vector grip has an aggressive texture that ensures the baton sits securely in hand

Talon is an innovative expandable baton, whose retraction occurs without the need to strike against a hard surface or apply any significant force. This retraction is enabled by the innovative DiscLoc lock released with a button at the end of the handle.

The DiscLoc lock uses two pairs of overlapping disk halves, which, due to the springs between them, lock onto notches inside the baton segments. Unlocking occurs via a steel rod connected to the button.

Another important feature of the ASP Talon baton is the ability to extend and lock the segments without needing to swing. Simply pull the end of the baton protruding from the handle. This feature is appreciated in situations where you want to extend the baton quietly and discreetly, and in places that hinder opening the baton by swinging, such as:
- in narrow corridors,
- in means of transport,
- in elevators,
- within a dense group of people.
