Light, sharp... I'm even wondering what superlatives to use to describe in a few words this small work of art, the craftsmanship of the designer, and the materials used in its creation. Highly recommended.
Lightweight folding EDC (Every Day Carry) knife featuring a Tanto blade profile. Crafted from premium CPM-M4 tool steel with a hardness rating of 62-64 HRC, the blade delivers exceptional abrasion resistance. The combo (partially serrated) edge is finished with a non-reflective ceramic Tungsten Grey Cerakote coating, which enhances protection against corrosion.
Deployment is facilitated by an ambidextrous thumb stud, supporting effortless opening with either hand. The robust sliding lock mechanism, Axis Lock, ensures secure operation—preventing unintended closure or accidental opening during transport.
Ergonomically contoured handle scales are constructed from anodized aircraft-grade aluminum 6061-T6. A Lanyard Hole at the end of the handle allows for attachment of a securing cord, strap, or lanyard. Additional features include a dedicated glass breaker and a spring steel pocket clip—two-position (right or left side)—for carrying in the tip-up position.

Benchmade Knife Company is an American brand founded in 1988 by Les de Asis in Oregon, with roots dating back to the 1970s when it operated as Bali-Song. The company became famous for producing folding and combat knives, and its butterfly logo refers to the first balisong models, which were awarded the title of Knife of the Year in 1979. Today, Benchmade manufactures knives in three lines: Blue Class, Black Class, and Gold Class, using modern powder steels such as S30V, M390, and CPM-20CV, and the patented Axis Lock, valued for its reliability and smooth operation. Among the brand's icons are the Griptilian, Bugout, 940 Osborne, Infidel, and Bushcrafter models, and the company regularly collaborates with renowned knifemakers such as Mel Pardue, Warren Osborne, and Ernest Emerson. Benchmade was the first knife manufacturer in the US to implement fully automated CNC production, achieving unprecedented precision and repeatability in the industry.
