Carbon gives the raw material high hardness, while chromium provides limited corrosion resistance and supports hardness in combination with molybdenum, which increases fracture resistance and improves wear resistance. Tungsten further increases abrasion resistance and edge stability at high temperatures.

The blade surface is covered with a black Cerakote coating, which increases resistance to abrasion and external factors. The coating protects the steel from corrosion, moisture impact, and chemical agents. The matte finish reduces light reflections, which can be important during field use.

The blade with a Drop-Point profile has been designed to maintain a balance between strength and blade control. This shape promotes stable cutting and allows for precise work, while maintaining appropriate resistance to damage.
