Small version of the legendary classic. The larger version is, in my opinion, the best large folding knife, while this one is the best small folding knife I've ever had.
A lightweight yet robust folding knife engineered for everyday carry (EDC), ideal for a wide range of household tasks and outdoor adventures.
Equipped with a blade featuring a Drop-Point profile crafted from highly wear-resistant, satin-finished stainless steel CPM-S30V with a hardness rating of 58-60 HRC. Jimping along the spine provides a secure thumb rest, enhancing control during use.
Dual thumb studs ensure easy one-handed opening. The dependable Axis Lock—a pin pressed against the rear of the blade and supported by dual springs—guards against unintentional blade deployment.
Constructed with a handle made from glass-filled nylon (Glass-Filled Nylon), the knife’s structure is securely assembled using Torx screws.
A spring-loaded clip enables convenient carry, allowing attachment to a belt or pocket edge. The clip is reversible, enabling tip-up carry for both right- and left-handed users. An integrated lanyard hole at the rear offers an added option for carrying security.

Benchmade Knife Company is an American brand founded in 1988 by Les de Asis in Oregon, with roots dating back to the 1970s when it operated as Bali-Song. The company became famous for producing folding and combat knives, and its butterfly logo refers to the first balisong models, which were awarded the title of Knife of the Year in 1979. Today, Benchmade manufactures knives in three lines: Blue Class, Black Class, and Gold Class, using modern powder steels such as S30V, M390, and CPM-20CV, and the patented Axis Lock, valued for its reliability and smooth operation. Among the brand's icons are the Griptilian, Bugout, 940 Osborne, Infidel, and Bushcrafter models, and the company regularly collaborates with renowned knifemakers such as Mel Pardue, Warren Osborne, and Ernest Emerson. Benchmade was the first knife manufacturer in the US to implement fully automated CNC production, achieving unprecedented precision and repeatability in the industry.

I have been carrying it as EDC for 2 months. Excellent quality, the lock is perfect for fidgeting, carries very well in the pocket, and superb steel. It's worth having a diamond sharpener.
