Bestech Knives Glok Folding Knife - Black

A folding EDC (Every Day Carry) knife equipped with a Drop-Point blade. Engineered for daily tasks and outdoor use, this versatile folding knife is the creation of American designer Keanu Alfaro.

14C28N stainless steel, satin and Stonewash finish

Forged from 14C28N stainless steel, a material engineered by the Swedish firm Sandvik, the blade is designed for high hardness. Optimized levels of nitrogen help ensure lasting corrosion resistance and bolster the edge’s overall durability. The addition of carbon contributes to excellent cutting performance, while chromium enhances resistance to rust and oxidation.

A combination of Satin and Stonewash finishes delivers a matte blade surface. These processes effectively conceal signs of use, such as scratches or marks.

Drop-point profile blade, jimping

Outfitted with a blade in the Drop-Point style, a plain cutting edge, and a total length of 9 cm, the model ensures versatile performance. Jimping along the blade’s spine provides a reliable thumb rest, enhancing grip security and boosting blade control during precision tasks.

Handle scales made of G10 laminate, clip, and lanyard hole

The handle features scales crafted from G10 laminate in black, constructed from glass fiber layers set in epoxy resin. A non-slip scale texture along with a finger groove provides secure handling. Outfitted with a resilient steel clip (tip-up, right-side carry) and a hole designed for lanyard or cord attachment.

Button lock mechanism, thumb disk, ball bearing

Featuring a double-sided thumb disk, the knife can be easily deployed with either the right or left hand. A Button Lock mechanism ensures the blade stays securely in place during use. Integrated into the main axis, a ball bearing optimizes and accelerates the opening action.

14C28N feature
14C28N
14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.
Button Lock feature
Button Lock
Button Lock (also known as Plunge Lock) is a locking mechanism in folding knives based on a spring button. When fully opened, the tang enters a notch at the base of the blade and locks it in the working position; when closed, the same element acts as a detent. The design allows for smooth opening and closing with one hand and increases safety, as it does not require the user to place their fingers on the blade line. Thanks to its simplicity and reliability, the Button Lock is often used in EDC knives and collector's models.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Stonewash feature
Stonewash
Stonewash is a blade finishing technique that involves treating steel in a drum filled with stones, ceramic abrasives, or beads. The impact of the material creates a characteristic, irregular pattern with micro-scratches, giving the effect of a matte, slightly “aged” surface with a raw, practical appearance. The finish gives the knife an aesthetic look and masks minor scratches and marks that occur during use, keeping the blade looking like new for longer. The matte texture reduces light reflections, which is valued in tactical and outdoor knives, and the micro-scratches can further reduce friction during cutting. Due to its durability, discreet appearance, and ease of maintenance, stonewash is popular in EDC, field, and tactical knives.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.

Contrary to appearances, it actually fits very well in the hand. An interesting knife that gets better the more you use it. Mechanically and in terms of materials, it is excellent in this price range.

A practical, wide blade. The handle lies comfortably in a large hand, but for a smaller hand, it may be slightly too wide to achieve a secure grip. Nevertheless, I recommend it, a successful design.
