Samari arrived yesterday. To be honest, I already fell in love during the purchase just by looking at the pictures, but holding it in my hand in real life is simply a work of art! A beautiful knife.
Lightweight, folding EDC knife (Every-Day-Carry) equipped with a blade that features a Drop-Point profile. The Samari model was created by Polish knifemaker Grzegorz "Kombou" Grabarski.
The blade is crafted from powder M390 stainless steel, known for its superior resistance to impact, abrasion, and corrosion. Hardened to 59-61 HRC, the blade’s surface features a black stonewash finish that provides a dark, matte appearance. Jimping (notched thumb ramp) has been integrated into the spine to enhance control during precise cuts.
Utilizing a flipper, the blade opens smoothly and provides a small cross guard to help prevent the hand from slipping forward. A Frame Lock mechanism secures the blade in place. The deployment is further optimized by a ceramic ball bearing integrated into the pivot.
The handle scales are constructed from 6AL4V titanium, offering a secure grip thanks to the anti-slip texture, even in wet or dirty conditions. A titanium clip, mounted in the tip-up/r configuration, enables easy and comfortable carry.
