Samari arrived yesterday. To be honest, I already fell in love during the purchase just by looking at the pictures, but holding it in my hand in real life is simply a work of art! A beautiful knife.
Lightweight, folding EDC knife (Every-Day-Carry) featuring a Drop-Point blade. The Samari model is the creation of Polish knifemaker Grzegorz "Kombou" Grabarski.
The blade is crafted from powdered M390 stainless steel, offering exceptional resistance to impact, abrasion, and corrosion. The blade has been hardened within the range of 59-61 HRC. A satin finish on the blade’s surface provides a refined semi-matte look. The spine features jimping at the thumb rest to enhance blade control during precision tasks.
Deployment of the blade is achieved via a flipper, which also acts as a compact cross guard to prevent the hand from sliding onto the cutting edge. A Frame Lock mechanism secures the blade while open. The flipping action is made quicker and smoother thanks to a ceramic ball bearing mounted on the knife’s main pivot.
Handle scales are machined from 6AL4V titanium. The textured, anti-slip surface ensures a firm grip even in wet or dirty conditions. A titanium pocket clip in the tip-up/r position allows for convenient and secure carry.
