The device features a dual-band analog radio tuner, enabling access to broadcasts on the FM and AM frequencies. FM signals cover a reception range of 87.5 - 108.0 MHz, while AM frequencies extend from 522 - 1620 KHz. Band selection is managed via a sliding switch situated on the front panel. Fine-tuning to the desired station is achieved with a dedicated knob, and the precise scale provides a clear view of the current frequency. Superior radio signal reception is delivered by the integrated telescopic antenna, which can be adjusted freely in any direction.
Equipped with an integrated SOS alarm, the device emits a powerful 110 dB sound to assist emergency teams in quickly pinpointing and rescuing individuals in distress. In addition to its radio capabilities, the ER10 is fitted with a LED offering three illumination modes, enabling its use as a reliable flashlight.
The integrated 2000 mAh battery can be powered either by the built-in solar module or a hand crank generator. Achieving a full charge through solar charging requires approximately 60 hours of uninterrupted exposure to direct sunlight. The solar panel also features a compact lamp that serves as an auxiliary light source. By manually rotating the crank about 360 times, enough power can be produced to operate the radio or flashlight for roughly 30 minutes. Charging is also possible via an external power supply using the included USB-C cable, which allows for a full charge in 4-5 hours.
Equipped with a universal USB-C port, the radio serves effectively as a portable backup powerbank, enabling the charging of most electronic gear, including smartphones, tablets, and notebooks. The integrated charge level indicator provides real-time updates on battery status during operation. Once fully charged, the battery ensures 10 to 15 hours of radio functionality.
