Great sword, sharp as hell, you have to be very careful when drawing it not to cut yourself. The only remark is that it arrived damaged. The damage is a dent on the scabbard with some loss of color, other than that it’s great.

Boker Magnum Blind Samurai Sword
A katana in a minimalist style reminiscent of the traditional shirasaya form, made with attention to detail and using high quality materials such as 1045 carbon steel and painted wood. An excellent choice for collectors and as a decorative piece.
Carbon steel blade
The 73.5 cm long blade is made of durable 1045 carbon steel, resulting in a smooth surface and clearly defined edges. The thickness of the blade is 6 mm, combining lightness with structural strength.
Wooden handle, notches indicating the direction of the blade
The handle is made of wood, which has been carefully painted, providing a consistent look along with the scabbard. The lack of a tsuba (guard) and the simplified shape emphasize the distinctive style of the shirasaya. Subtle notches on the handle, indicating the direction of the blade, serve both a practical and visual function.
minimalist scabbard made of painted wood
The scabbard is also made of painted wood, forming a cohesive whole with the handle and blade. Carefully painted, it provides a harmonious look and enhances the minimalist style of the sword.
Purpose
Sword dedicated to collector and decorative purposes. Not suitable for combat training or cutting practice (Tameshigiri).
