I sincerely recommend the Boker AKS -74 D2 automatic knife, it opens instantly. The advantages are the strong spring, the contoured handle, and good sharp steel. It’s perfect for everyday carry. At this price, you won't find a better or more solid automatic. Highly recommended.
Boker Plus AKS-74 D2 Spring knife
Folding spring knife by Boker from the Kalashnikov line with an overall length of 200 mm, a blade length of 85 mm, and a Drop-Point profile made of D2 tool steel, which is characterized by optimal durability and wear resistance. The blade has been finished using the satin method. The handle features a Button Lock and aluminum scales in black. On the spine of the handle, there is an additional sliding lock to prevent accidental opening.
D2 tool steel
The blade is made of D2 tool steel, valued for its very high abrasion resistance and long-lasting sharpness. It is a high-carbon steel with a high chromium content, resulting in numerous hard carbides, which translates to excellent edge retention when working with demanding materials. D2 offers good blade stability, but its impact resistance is moderate, so it is best suited for cutting rather than heavy prying.
Drop-Point blade profile, flat grind, satin finish
Blade length 85 mm and thickness 3 mm with a Drop-Point profile, designed for maximum tip strength. This profile is especially suitable for outdoor and EDC applications, where a combination of high penetration ability and optimal blade control is required. Jimping is placed on the spine of the blade, allowing for a secure thumb rest and increasing blade control during cuts.
The model features a flat grind, providing increased resistance to damage. The blade is finished with a satin method, resulting in a semi-matte effect.
aluminum handle
The scales of the ergonomically contoured handle are made of damage-resistant aluminum in black. At the end of the grip, there is a small hole for a securing cord or keychain.
Liner Lock, springy clip
The Button Lock mechanism with an additional slider is responsible for both opening and closing the blade. Simply press the button for the blade to automatically unfold, allowing for comfortable one-handed knife operation. This system also locks the blade in the open position, ensuring safe use.
Daily convenient carry is ensured by a springy, steel clip in the tip-up position, allowing easy attachment of the knife to a belt or pocket edge. The clip is mounted on the right side.
Note
Contrary to popular belief, spring knives can be legally purchased, owned, and carried. Polish law does not impose any restrictions on knife opening mechanisms, nor are there restrictions on blade shape and length. Other countries may have regulations limiting or prohibiting the carrying of certain types of knives - if you are traveling abroad with a knife, it is worth checking them out

It's cool, strong clip, good grip although it could be a bit rougher, good thumb rest, a small minus for the delicate spring without a kick. For this price, it's definitely cool, and a plus for D2.
-
Great knife, ergonomics are very good. Very strong spring. I recommend it for EDC.
-
The knife is indestructible, though the color on the handle wears off fairly quickly. Good D2 steel.
-
The knife arrived with play in the lock—I sent it back under warranty and I hope it comes back in good condition because it's a nice knife and fits very well in the hand.
-
Great knife.
-
Great semi-automatic knife at an attractive price. Good materials and workmanship. I recommend the folder and shopping at the Militaria store.

In my opinion, the AKS-74 from Böker is the best automatic knife on the market right now. D2 steel, armored and well-shaped aluminum handle, and everything fits together like a dream.
