The knife is exceptional when it comes to its appearance, and in person it makes an even bigger wow effect. Every time you open it with one hand, it brings a smile to your face. It comes very well sharpened and is solidly made. If someone is looking for a ‘dwarven knife’ for their collection, they will be satisfied.
Folding knife for daily EDC use, crafted by Midgards Messer
The blade features a drop point profile, measuring 5.2 mm in thickness and made from high-carbon tool steel D2, renowned for exceptional abrasion, chipping, and impact resistance. Because of its elevated carbon content, D2 is classified as a semi-stainless steel.
Deployment of the knife is enabled by a broad groove in the blade, delivering a smooth opening action thanks to the integration of bearings. Jimping on the spine enhances grip and control. A robust and dirt-resistant frame lock provides reliable user safety.
The handle scales are constructed from G10 laminate with a textured, non-slip surface for secure handling. An integrated lanyard hole at the rear of the handle allows for the attachment of a cord to prevent loss or to mount a lanyard.
A pocket clip on the handle allows the knife to be conveniently carried, either attached to a belt or secured to a pocket's edge for everyday accessibility.

In the 19th century, it expanded its operations to the US, Canada, and Mexico, establishing recognizable subsidiaries. Today, the main factory in Solingen specializes in handcrafted collector's and utility knives, including those made of steel recovered from historical objects such as the Tripitz battleship.
