Boker Plus Kihon Compact Folding Knife
A very lightweight folding EDC (Every Day Carry) knife with a Drop-Point blade designed by renowned American knife maker Lucas Burnley. The model features a blade made of D2 tool steel and a nylon handle. A steel clip ensures comfortable everyday carry.
D2 tool steel, flat grind, satin finish
The blade is made from high-quality D2 tool steel hardened to a hardness of 57-61 HRC. The spine of the blade is covered with jimping, facilitating control during cutting. The blade features a flat grind and is finished using the Stonewash method, resulting in a matte, slightly aged surface with a raw, practical appearance. The finish gives the knife an aesthetic look and masks small scratches and marks that occur during use, keeping the blade looking new for longer. Additionally, the texture of the finish reduces light reflections.
bearing-mounted blade, Crossbar Lock
The ball-bearing blade is 70 mm long and 2.3 mm thick. It opens using a thumb stud on both sides, allowing the knife to be opened with either the right or left hand. The sliding Crossbar Lock mechanism prevents the knife from closing and accidentally opening while being carried.
nylon handle reinforced with fiberglass, lanyard hole, deep-carry clip
The handle scales with an anti-slip texture are made from nylon reinforced with fiberglass. Anodized orange rings around the pivot screw and handle serve as decorative elements. At the end of the handle, there is a hole for a lanyard, strap, or cord. The knife is equipped with a two-position (right- or left-sided) flexible steel clip deep-carry that allows for carry in the tip-up position.
