Practical EDC folding knife designed with essential tools specifically for sailors.
The partially serrated blade crafted from 4116 steel ensures effortless cutting of ropes and lines. Additional features include a dedicated shackle opener and a tool for loosening knots. The knife's deployment is aided by a nail notch, while user protection is guaranteed through a slipjoint lock.
For enhanced strength and reliability, screws have been replaced with riveted construction. Daily portability is optimized with a Tip-Up clip, which secures the knife to a belt or pocket edge. An oversized loop is integrated for attaching a carabiner or threading a cord.
The handle bears a cross and the engraving Die Seenotretter, paying homage to the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service.
