Boker Plus Slike Knife

Folding pocket knife OTF type (Out The Front), allowing quick front blade deployment using a slider. The blade with a Dagger profile is made from D2 tool steel and finished with an aesthetic satin finish. The handle scales are made of G10 glass-epoxy composite in black. In the open position, the blade is locked with a sliding button lock mechanism.

D2 tool steel

The blade is made of D2 tool steel, appreciated for its high cutting aggressiveness and good abrasion resistance. After proper hardening, it achieves a hardness of 57–62 HRC, allowing it to maintain sharpness for a long time even with intensive use. Although D2 steel is not fully stainless, its corrosion resistance remains sufficient for everyday use.

Dagger profile blade, satin finish

The double-edged blade with a Dagger profile is 76 mm long and 2.5 mm thick, with a double-sided flat grind. A fuller runs through the center of the blade. This geometry ensures very good penetration properties while maintaining appropriate strength. The blade is finished using a satin method, giving the surface a semi-matte appearance and reducing glare.

G10 handle, deep-carry clip

The handle is made using CNC from durable G10 glass-epoxy composite in black. The anti-slip texture and small, double-sided cross guard ensure a firm and safe grip. The knife is equipped with a large deep-carry clip (tip-down). At the end of the handle, there is a lanyard hole for threading a cord or lanyard.

Manual OTF mechanism

The knife features a manual OTF mechanism (Out The Front), allowing the blade to be deployed from the front using a slider. In the open position, the blade is locked with a sliding button lock mechanism, operated by a button. The design also allows the blade to be locked after being partially extended (up to about half its length).

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Boker.

Boker is a German knife manufacturer with a tradition dating back to the 17th century, known for its distinctive chestnut tree logo – “Tree Brand.” In 1830, the company was already producing up to 2000 sabers per week, which were sent to battlefields across Europe. In the 19th century, it expanded its operations to the US, Canada, and Mexico, establishing recognizable subsidiaries. Today, the main factory in Solingen specializes in handcrafted collector's and utility knives, including those made of steel recovered from historical objects such as the Tripitz battleship. The brand offers four lines: Boker Manufaktur Solingen, Boker Plus, Magnum, and Arbolito. Boker products are valued by collectors, uniformed services, and chefs around the world.

D2 feature
D2
D2 is a high-carbon tool steel classified as semi-stainless, characterized by high wear resistance and the ability to maintain a thin, durable edge. It achieves a hardness of 57-62 HRC, which ensures long-lasting sharpness even with intensive use. Its chemical composition is a precisely selected combination of elements: carbon (1.4-1.6%), chromium (11-13%), molybdenum (up to 0.8%), vanadium (up to 1%), manganese (up to 1%), and silicon (up to 1%). The high carbon and chromium content ensures hardness and wear resistance, while molybdenum and vanadium improve the strength and durability of the cutting edge. Although D2 steel is not completely stainless, its corrosion resistance is sufficient to meet the requirements of most conditions of use. It is widely used in the production of mid-range and high-end knives, including handmade knives and cutting tools.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
