A bit bigger and more "solid" than version 1, and you can feel it immediately when using them. They fit better in your hand and are easier to operate, especially when you need to clip something quickly. The mechanism works smoothly, without jamming, and the whole thing feels more robust. Three pieces are enough for basic things like a backpack or organizing small items, but soon you start thinking about having more of them.

This is a useful item for attaching lighter accessories such as gloves, a hat, or small items to MOLLE, but the quality of the plastic can be inconsistent. One of the three carabiners cracked on the very first use when I pressed it a bit harder, so I probably got a defective piece or a weaker molding. The other two are working fine so far, and the clasp operates securely. At this price, they are suitable for lightweight gear, but it is worth using them carefully and not applying too much pressure.
