Thermo Tarp merges the functionality of a camping tarp with the advantages of a thermal blanket (NRC). Crafted from breathable and waterproof fabric, it offers both packability and a lightweight build. The material’s ripstop construction ensures enhanced durability.

An insulating layer coats one side of the tarp, boosting thermal comfort on cold nights. During scorching days, this thermal coating reflects sunlight, effectively reducing the temperature beneath the shelter. The reverse side features a forest camouflage pattern, adept at absorbing heat and blending seamlessly in woodlands, mountain regions, or open terrain.

Multiple set-up options are available, whether using natural surroundings like trees, rocks, and terrain features, or relying on trekking poles, paddles, or even a bicycle. Thanks to its large dimensions, up to 4 adults can comfortably shelter underneath. Versatility includes functionality as a blanket, a heat reflector (such as for drying clothing), or as a signaling device during rescue missions.

The kit features a convenient transport bag and 10 meters of durable cord for securing the tarp.

Review summary

Automatically prepared based on reviews

Customers praise this tarp for its durable build, low weight, compact packed size, and versatile use. They highlight the strong fabric, reinforced stitching, and many attachment points that make it easy to pitch in different configurations. The tarp performs well in rain, wind, and strong sun, while the thermal layer improves warmth on cold nights and helps reduce heat buildup in hot weather. The 3x3 size feels especially practical for solo use as well as for small groups or families. Many reviewers say the product justifies its higher price because it offers long-term reliability and strong overall quality. A few users mention a noticeable odor when new and note that the stuff sack can feel too tight or less durable than the tarp itself.

The tarp is made of very good materials. The seams are triple-stitched, and the loops are made extremely solidly. As for the declared thermal insulation – with it almost fully closed, you can indeed notice a minimal difference in temperature.

The tarp passed its test as a hammock cover in winds gusting up to 70 km/h and performed superbly. It was warm inside, and the material remained intact. It was very comfortable inside. Highly recommended.

A very good concept of combining waterproof fabric with a thermal insulation layer. The 3x3 size is optimal for one to two people. Very precise workmanship and durable material guarantee many years of use. I recommend the product and the store Militaria.pl.

Solid, strong tarp with many mounting points. The heat-reflective layer is a plus. The number of uses compared to its size is also a plus. It's not cheap, but I recommend it because it will last a long time if you take care of it.

The tarp is in the most universal size and made very carefully with very good materials. Tested for both water resistance and heat reflection in summer. It performs excellently in both roles. I also own this tarp in the 2x3 size. I recommend the product and the store.

High-class product :) It's not an ordinary tarp, but one you can fit in any backpack due to its size and weight. The number of ways you can set up this tarp is huge, so you can adapt your "shelter" to any terrain. I recommend it to everyone

The tarp is very solid and excellently made. Tested in the forest in two configurations so far. Its weight of 750g is just right for me. I can honestly recommend it and I add that at this price you probably won't get a better one. Shipping as always, superb.

Probably the best tarp. It is durable - the corner attachment points are made from a single piece of tape sewn along the edge, while the others are on additional pieces of tape. It has an extra heat-reflective layer, which protects from harmful sunlight on the outside or reduces heat loss inside. Amazing! I am attaching the Grunt Proof review.

Fantastic. Small and lightweight, but after unpacking there are plenty of possibilities. Tested in the field. It protects well against wind and rain. There was a frost at night and no problems, warm and comfortable.

After a year of use, I state that it is worth every penny, very solid.

One of the lightest thermal tarps on the market. Many attachment points. Durable coating. Nice color. Great cover with attachment options. The sound of raindrops is not annoying.
