Moisture beads up on the surface and easily rolls off the outer layer.

One side of the underquilt features a dark green color for optimal camouflage in natural surroundings, while the opposite side is bright orange, enhancing visibility. The underquilt is reversible and can be utilized with either side facing out, based on specific requirements.

Benefiting from its innovative design, the Underquilt serves not only as an underquilt but also functions as a comfortable sleeping bag, topquilt, duvet, or simply as an extra insulating layer for a sleeping bag. The tailored duvet shape delivers optimal performance by maximizing the insulating capacity of the down fill. Down chambers constructed with an H-profile—also known as the warm seam—effectively eliminate cold spots by ensuring no uninsulated areas. By enhancing coverage, the underquilt’s insulation properties are significantly improved.

In the sections that cover the chest, shoulders, and head, the Underquilt Glow is designed with a 140 cm width and features rectangular, pillow-shaped chambers. Such construction prevents the down from migrating towards the lower areas of the duvet, ensuring the torso and head remain exceptionally well shielded. A narrower section follows, tailored for the legs, utilizing a unique longitudinal chamber design. This specialized build ensures maximum insulation and the most efficient use of the down fill.

The underquilt offers simple and rapid adjustment to accommodate any hammock. Included in the kit are two 1.25 m stretchers, each fitted with specialized tensioners featuring self-locking clamps. These enable easy adjustment of the underquilt without the need for force, all while reclining comfortably in your hammock. When opting to sleep on a flat surface like beneath a tarp instead of using a hammock, the Underquilt Glow can function as a sleeping bag or topquilt. To secure, just wrap the stretchers around a mattress and fasten the duvet by attaching it to the tensioners.
