14C28N stands out as a martensitic stainless steel alloyed with chromium, representing one of the latest advancements in knife steels from Swedish steel manufacturer Sandvik. Its carefully balanced chemical composition delivers exceptional hardness, outstanding corrosion resistance, and a prolonged edge retention. Compared to 13C26 steel, it excels in both performance characteristics and durability.
Featuring a blade measuring 83.2 mm with a Drop Point profile, the knife undergoes a Stonewashed finish, effectively concealing minor wear scratches, and is then finished with a black coating. A slim blade paired with a high, flat grind ensures exceptional cutting performance and accuracy. Thanks to ceramic ball bearings, the deployment mechanism operates smoothly, enabling rapid blade extension via the index-finger flipper.
