Civivi Mini Praxis Ultem Folding Knife - Polished

EDC (Every Day Carry) folding knife equipped with a 75.6 mm long blade in a Drop-Point shape. Crafted from high-carbon D2 steel and hardened to 59-61 HRC, the blade offers exceptional strength and resistance to wear. A Liner Lock mechanism secures the handle. Jimping on the spine of the blade provides a thumb rest for enhanced control.

D2 high-carbon steel

A 3 mm thick blade featuring a Drop-Point profile is crafted from high-carbon D2 steel. Due to its significant chromium content, the steel offers outstanding resistance to corrosion and abrasion. The blade incorporates a flat grind, delivering excellent cutting performance.

convenient opening, liner lock

Positioned at the base of the blade, a flipper ensures rapid and effortless one-handed deployment. Once opened, the blade forms a cross guard, effectively shielding the hand from unintended slippage. Incorporation of a ceramic ball bearing mechanism facilitates swift blade action and delivers smooth operation. In the open position, a Liner Lock secures the blade, providing reliable safety throughout use.

Ultem scales, springy clip

Scales are crafted from robust Ultem plastic. The handle’s ergonomic design combined with its non-slip surface guarantees a secure grip during use. A dedicated cut-out for the index finger enhances safety by preventing the hand from sliding onto the blade.

A spring-loaded deep-carry clip (tip-up, compatible with right or left carry) is mounted to the handle, ensuring secure and comfortable everyday carry, whether attached to a belt, pocket, or other gear.

Small, handy knife, fits very well in the hand. But for people with large hands, it may seem a bit small. Sharp from the factory. Works nicely - easy to open and easy to close. Plus point for the original yellow color. Strong clip.

The knife is beautifully made. Very good fit, no looseness at all. My first thought after taking it out of the box was "how small it is". Its compact size is an advantage, but it can also be a disadvantage. With hands size 9/L, I can't comfortably grip the handle with a standard grip and my pinky only gets partial support. The well-shaped index finger groove under the blade improves the situation a bit. It lets you shift your grip toward the tip and makes working with the knife easier. The deep carry clip is strong and keeps the whole thing secure even on a belt. The lock also holds the knife well in the closed position, and there's no risk the knife will open by accidental brushing of the flipper. The knife comes well oiled and very sharp – you could shave with it. The D2 steel needs care; it's a good idea to get some grease/wax for maintenance right away. The set includes a not very useful pouch (probably few will use it), a sticker, and a good-quality cloth—which I actually found handy for my sunglasses. This is my first real folder and I'm very impressed by what you can get for 150 PLN. To sum up, it's a very nice everyday folding knife, but people with slightly larger hands should think more carefully before buying.

Small and neat. The handle could have a slightly more aggressive texture. The lock holds well, although it should be centrally located and not close to the edge where it stops (maybe this is an issue with my unit?). The clip is strong (here, the plus side of the overly smooth grip surface—otherwise, the knife would tear the pants). The blade steel is perfectly acceptable. Opening is easy and quick. For large hands, it's better to take the bigger version (for a better grip). The sheath is a nice gadget. At this price, I recommend it.

Beautiful little tool for whittling sticks and slicing sausage at the campfire, interesting how long it will last, it looks like solid workmanship... we'll see... I've already broken a similar model from another brand.

Elegant small knife that can make a great gift idea. The blade looks brilliant and you can feel it is not just a toy. A big plus for the included sheath, which is the right size for a knife of these dimensions. The wood was a bit dry but after applying oil it gained a beautiful deep color.

Great knife for EDC. Small - the yellow color is very interesting. The blade moves smoothly. Convenient to open. The price-to-quality ratio probably can't be better. Comes in a stylish case - with a microfiber cloth. Extremely sharp - I didn't notice the slightest flaw, and it's hard to find a bigger nitpicker than me. Perfection in every inch.

The knife is great. It looks beautiful—exactly what I needed. Small, solid—let's see how it performs. For now, I am very satisfied. The only thing I noticed is that it could be a bit sharper.

Beautiful, elegant knife. Nice details. Very sharp and operates smoothly. Pleasant to use. I recommend it. Ordered in the evening and picked it up at the parcel locker the next day at noon. Fantastic. Top rating for the store's service.

Awesome knife. Small, quite cheap, and the workmanship is very good. The only thing I could criticize is the difficult access with your thumb to the liner lock. You really have to dig your finger in to release the lock.

I received the knife as a gift and I am very satisfied. Good steel, G10 handle scales, and an excellent opening mechanism do their job. The knife is solid enough that it can even be used for tougher tasks. Additionally, it looks great and seems much more expensive than it actually is.

Wonderful knife. Small size, good materials, high-quality workmanship, you hardly feel it in your pocket. It gets the job done and looks great. I recommend it because it’s really worth it.

Great folder, factory sharpened very well. However, you should note that it is really small (you can't really see it in the pictures), which might bother some people. The opening system works without any problems (smoothly and without jamming). I recommend it to anyone looking for something small and light :)

Perfect for everyday carry. Mini Praxis is the perfect version of its bigger brother. It fits well in the hand, is light and comfortable in the pocket. 9D2 steel performs very well in EDC, and the handle ergonomics are a huge plus. The liner lock mechanism holds securely, and the build quality beats the competition in this price range.

Bought as a gift but... The knife gives a good impression, light and comfortable (very small), everything is well made and it clicks great, plus the factory sharpness is also very good ;)

A very interesting knife. It is small, so drawing and deploying it is not as fast as with a full-sized knife. It's a typical utility knife, created for precise work. I don’t have a big hand, but even so, it’s still too big for this knife. You only really feel its comfort when you place your index finger in the blade cutout. Then the entire handle sits in your palm and the grip is excellent. The blade is 3 inches = 7.5 cm, but due to the cutout, the sharp part is only 62 mm and the cutting edge is about 64–65 mm. Tiny, right? These days, I rarely use a knife outdoors except for kitchen tasks and cutting ropes into smaller pieces… After many years of outdoor activities, I only need to use a knife a few times a year. This little thing will probably become my favorite forest knife, because it’s light. If I ever have to use it, it looks solid and dependable. Knife enthusiasts who like big knives or axes will probably appreciate it. It’s an excellent complement to a large knife or axe. For people with a lot of experience, it can be their main or only blade. Though most of them will still choose a fixed blade knife (like the Izula II). Included: box—factory sealed, so no one played with the knife. There’s a sheath—I don’t know why? The knife is meant for use, not just admiring. There’s also a cloth—not sure who needs it. Some leaflets, some stickers. Just junk. Threw it all away. It’s a shame to waste limited resources on this trash. It’d be better to reduce the knife’s price by 10 PLN and sell it without this stuff.
